Sam Curry

Sam Curry is an Adjunct Professor at Nichols College and is the Chief Information Security Officer at Zscaler. He is also a Visiting Fellow at the National Security Institute with George Mason Univerity. Most recently prior to his current roles, Sam was CSO of Cybereason Inc and President of Cybereason Government Inc., was CTO and CSO for Arbor Networks (NetScout) and was CISO and SVP R&D at MicroStrategy in addition to holding senior executive roles at McAfee and Computer Associates. He spent 7 years at RSA, the Security Division of EMC as Chief Technologist and SVP of Product. Sam also has over 20 patents in cyber security from his time as a security architect, has been a leader in two successful startups and is a board member of the Cybersecurity Coalition and of Sequitur Labs. He is a frequent contributor to Forbes, has appeared on CNN, NBC, CBS and Fox News among others, and has received numerous awards such as the Pillar of CERIAS award at Purdue University in 2015, SC Media’s 30th Anniversary Visionary Award in 2019 and Cyberjutsu’s Hidden Champion leading change in Cyber in 2020.
