Christopher DeBruin
Professor DeBruin has 24 years of experience in the legal, risk management, and commercial insurance realms. Chris was the Corporate Associate General Counsel and VP of Risk Management for a multi-billion dollar national company. He was responsible for regional staff attorneys, contract matters, litigation, real estate transactions, collective bargaining agreements, regulatory issues, claims management for all lines of insurance, risk management, and enterprise risk management advice for the company. Previously, Chris worked as a Claims General Counsel for a national commercial insurance company. Professor DeBruin manages the commercial insurance claims advocacy and risk management group for a national commercial insurance brokerage. Chris was recognized by the Boston Chamber of Commerce as one of Boston’s Future Leaders and has been routinely invited by companies to train legal, risk management, and business professionals.
