Mark Beaudry

Dr. Mark H. Beaudry CPP is an Assistant Professor at Worcester State
University in the Department of Criminal Justice and teaches security, cybercrime, and
other criminal justice courses. He is a USMC (ret.) intelligence chief and anti-terrorism instructor.

Dr. Beaudry received an A.S., B.S., M.S., and a PhD in HS/Criminal Justice.
He has been a member of ASIS International since 1982 and a CPP (Certified Protection Professional) since 1996. He is a member of the 2023-2024 Professional
Standards Board for ASIS and a frequent contributor to Security Management of articles,
book reviews, the POA manual, and many guidelines and standards. Dr. Beaudry has
authored four books and contributed chapters for sixteen books, and his dissertation: Faculty Perceptions of Factors to Develop a Paradigm for Security Studies. Dr. Beaudry also serves as an advisor for publishers to review book proposals and revisions, and peer review journals: Journal of Applied Security Research, Security Journal, and, International Journal of Cybersecurity Intelligence and Cybercrime. Dr. Beaudry is also co-chair for Cyber Career Pathways working group of NICE (National Initiative for Cyber Education).
