Oliver William Olson

Oliver Olson has over 30 years of professional experience spanning banking, consumer goods, and higher education. Currently, he is a senior lecturer in marketing and strategy at Maastricht School of Management, where he teaches MBA and executive programs throughout EMEA, APAC, and the Americas. His early career includes leadership roles in commercial real estate, credit card operations, and IT systems with Bank of America and Providian Capital, as well as product management and market research at Salamander, a leading shoe care company in Germany.

In higher education, Oliver has served in management roles such as MBA Director and Rector at institutions in Hungary, Romania, and the Netherlands. He has taught strategic management, marketing, and global business across Europe, Asia, and the Americas, and actively contributes to quality assurance through leadership roles with organizations like ACBSP and ATHEA. Additionally, he provides marketing and strategy consulting to organizations in countries including Finland, Egypt, Armenia, Georgia, Ghana and Rwanda
